The pre-use checkout procedure consists of a manual procedure performed by the user, followed by an automated self test. The manual procedure is summarized in the check list that is displayed after the machine is powered on. Before starting the checkout procedure, ensure the following conditions are met:

• the machine is prepared and assembled as specified in the Routine Maintenance and System Setup sections of the instructions for use
• the gas supply and power supply are connected
