"Pressure Support" is a stand alone ventilation mode

Breath is initiated after triggering, insp. time is adapted to patient

Apnea ventilation: If patient doesn’t trigger a PS stroke a mandatory stroke can be supplied automatically

Adjustable flow trigger

• Spontaneous breathing on PEEP level increases the functional residual capacity (FRC).
• Response time equal to ICU ventilator
• Spontaneous breathing during anesthesia when using laryngeal masks
• Rapid recovery for quicker changeover and shorter stays in recovery room
